SPEAK UP BENEFIT

When I was back in CO I had the pleasure to be part of a great benefit for the second year in a row, the Speak Up Benefit. It was a put on by the lovely Janie Rocek and Sugarmill Productions. It was basically a fashion show with live body painting, dancers, and silent auctions, all proceeds went to Sexual Assault and Awareness Prevention.

I had the pleasure of being a love body paint model. The theme of mine was from the quote "IF YOU ALWAYS WATCH THE DEMONS BEHIND YOU, YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE ANGELS AHEAD" It was a very appropriate quote for the benefit. So the idea of my body paint, was half of me was angel/goddess like, I was bronzed and jewele

d with soft curls, and the other side of my body was beaten, bruised, dead/zombi like, featuring an eye painted on my eye lid, VERY COOL. Megan and Taylor were also body paint models, during the show we got to dance on the cat walk to Sam Sparrow "Black and Gold" one of my favorite songs. My former dance team the Rockstarz performed throughout the show, they were killer as well as all the models. My Dad, Renee, Amanda, Tony, and Brandyn all came to support me, here are some pics of the show!!!

Hello Blog World

I have been missing the blog world....not really but I realized that I actually like this whole idea of writing down my thoughts and wisdom and miscellaneous things. So I decided Im back on the blogging market!!!

Wow, a lot has changed since I was last on here, I am not living in California, Im in love, im going to Esthetician school this summer and I have been modeling!

Moving to CA was the best decision I have ever made, I make my own decisions, I dont have to worry about pleasing other people or worrying about drama or who I dont wanna see. Im a free bird now. I have realized that having degrees no longer matters in society. I have been trying to find a job and no luck, therefore I work at a gym...and actually, I love it, its stress free, a great work environment, and plenty of leadway to move up in the company. I am very content where Im at right now.

I decided that I love the idea of working at a spa...especially waxing!!! Im obsessed so I am applying to school next month, Im so excited, because in about 8 months I will have a career, then hopefully open my own business or find a "big girl job" by then as well. I love the idea that I can be creative, that I am constantly moving and that I wont be stuck doing the same thing everyday.

I will be posting up some events that have happened later today, I just needed to write a quick tidbit on whats going on in my life, and hopefully get some more followers and vice versa. From now on I will be posting what I want, what I think, and what I like, if you don't like it don't read it. Honesty is the key to life and everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however those who stay, I hope you find my blog interesting...funny/humorous....and enjoy the thinking of my wild brain.
